FastPass Window for Shows?

I have searched high and low, but can’t seem to find the answer to my question…
Many shows have a narrow arrival window (e.g., supposed to arrive between 9-9:15 for a 9:40 show). If I arrive outside of that window (e.g., at 9:25), I know I will miss the pre-entry perk, but am I still able to scan my band and “use” that FastPass? My thought here is that I want to burn through my first 3 FPs at Hollywood Studios rather quickly, so that I can try to snag another Tier 1 FP for later in the day.

I don’t think so, if you miss your window it is expired and you can’t tap to clear it. Sometimes that’s fine to get a 4th (if your tier 1 is afterwards) but sometimes you need to rebook.
