Fast Pass Question Tiers

I have a FPP for 2 tier 2 rides and FOP at AK. Can I get another tier 1 ride if I do not do the tier 2 rides and only do FOP. Do I have to tap the tier 2 rides before getting another tier 1 or is it enough that the FPP for the tier 2 rides have expired? Thanks!

Seems everyone is having different experiences. U could tap to be safe or wait and see when in park. If it wont let u get a FP for another tier 1, you could tap 2 tier twos quickly. Since you are specifically talking about AK, I wish you the best of luck in getting a same day FP for a tier 1.

Aside from the tap vs let them expire question, you must have “used” those tier2 FPs before you can try for another tier1, if staying in AK.

I would always recommend tapping in to the tier2 FPs. If you rely on them expiring and they don’t, you will end up having to visit GS to get it sorted out, which could take up almost as much time as tapping in. Are you really only wanting to ride FoP? Not wanting to do the Safari or EE etc?

Thanks. Does the same advice hold for epcot. We have a top for frozen at 11. We don’t plan to come before then. After frozen I want to get a fastpass to meet mickey at character spot. It will still be there on our trip. I booked 2 tier 2 FPP before frozen but we were not planning to be in the park early.

Yes. You can’t get another Tier One FPP until you have used your first three FPP.

So a FP that has expired because the window has passed does not count as being “used”? Just want to make sure I understand correctly. Thanks.

Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. The system is inconsistent. Best chance of the expired FP falling off is booking them prior to the Tier 1 and being physically in the park during the FP window.
