Extended Hours or After Hours

I’m going to disney April 2-11. I was planning on going to After Hours at MK on April 7th, but now I’m learning about extended hours for Epcot and MK. The problem is Epcot extended hours is only offered the same night as after hours at MK. Should I save the money $185 x3 and just go to both of the extended evening events on Monday and Wednesday? If it matters it’s me and my 12 and 10 year old.

Just a note that extended evening hours are only offered to deluxe resort guests. So hopefully that’s where you’re staying, or none of this matters and you should definitely do the After Hours

I personally think MK extended hours are amazing. You get truly low crowds, lots of short waits or walk ons, and the ability to enjoy many attractions in the 2hrs you get as a deluxe guest. So I would definitely go to that

The extended hours at Epcot are less fabulous, mainly because everything is so spread out. You still get low crowds and short waits, but it takes more time to get from attraction to attraction there.

Whether you decide to do the After Hours in place of the Epcot extended hours is a personal thing. I also happen to think the After Hours at MK is the best After Hours offered. One thing to really consider is whether both kids will be able to hang in through the whole After Hours - it’s definitely not worth the spend if you’re not going to stay the whole time.

We decided to do AH because we wanted to do AH at both HS and AK since they are our highest priority parks for rides. (AH at HS is on the same night as MK EEH and AH at MK is on the same night at EEH at EP.)

It is expensive but frees up our days for more leisurely touring. Since you can get into the park at 7, you can also skip buying a day ticket that day if you want. We’re doing a pool day one day.

Epcot is so spread out that EEH feels less worth it. However that may not apply for people who love Guardians since that will now be standby for EEH.
