Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (2026 edition)

My wife and I were planning to utilized EETPH this August. Right now, they only have the hours posted through April I think it was, BUT the Disney web site says:

So, I assume that means through the END of 2026?

Yes, they will take place through the end of 2026, at least, but the parks and hours will not be posted this far out. I think they are up to May 4th since there was a change for that night?

Dates are posted up to May 6th.

May 4th is at AK instead of Epcot (Gartner buyout night).

A reminder that the app usually shows park hours further out than the website.

In MDE app:

Plan my next visit > Parks hours & Info

Or WDWMagic keeps the hours updated here:

How often do these change as dates get closer? I can’t believe Magic Kingdom will closing as early as 9:30 pm on Easter weekend and the week after…?

I think up to 2 weeks before is “normal”, although they can change right up to date of.

If you have your trip set up on Touring Plans, they’ll email you any changes.

More changes for the following week, including DHS (my advice: do it! It’s great).

Monday, May 11 - DHS instead of Epcot

Wednesday, May 13 - AK instead of MK

Oh! I will have to pay attention the next few weeks.

Also that week, be aware that MK close at 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

There’s a company buy-out that evening.

I think I work for the wrong company! :joy:

Me, too!

Any idea of how long ago this was announced?

Yesterday as far as I know.

EEH for that week were posted a few days ago. Not sure if the park hours were just posted yesterday also. Or if they were posted at the same time as EEH and the reason was only made known yesterday.

I can see May 13th hours on MDE, cannot see them on the Disney World web site and discard any 3rd party Web site as they are not official. I find this change to be unconscionable at roughly 10 weeks out and it not being visible on all official calendars.

The Advanced Reservation windows have or will be opening soon and could be impacted by this change. At the very least any ticket being applied to MK entry that day is being devalued by $50+

MDE for some reason is always ahead of the website.

WDWMagic keeps track of the MDE hours, so although unofficial should always match the app.

If you have your trip set up on Touring Plans they will notify you of any later changes (assuming you allow them to do so).
