Extended Evening Hours this summer...?

I know last summer because of Starlight the Extended Evening Hours shifted to DAK from MK. They seem to be back to MK now, so is it likely it will stay Epcot on Mondays and MK on Wednesdays as it has been for this coming summer? Or any clue when they will be announced?

I’m trying to decide which dates to go over my birthday and IF it was going to be DAK on Wednesday I’d shift it. But I can get slightly cheaper rates on airfare (and resort) if I don’t stay over Wednesday night.

I seem to remember that it was announced about two months before my trip, but would have to look through my history to make sure.

Gotcha. I guess I won’t focus on that and go more with which day combo I can get the better airfare. :slight_smile:

I looked back on my trip I was planning on for June 2025, and it was May when it was announced, I think. April I definitely didn’t know what the EEH days were going to be located at. I was hoping for MK and EP.

Thanks. Looks like airfare is going to be better the July 18-22 so I will just not sweat it. Whatever is on Monday night I’ll go to. :slight_smile:

I think it’ll stay as MK & Epcot until the Halloween parties start.

There are always odd days when one or other park has an early closing for a special event (private buyout, CM recognition night etc.)

Why do you think so? Last summer it was switched to AK.

I honestly thought the switch was because of opening Starlight. But it pops up occasionally on the schedule even now.

Oh, yeah. Maybe it was. I only know that I was disappointed. AK EEH didn’t sound that great because it still closes so early.

I’d take any extra time I can get in AK. I love it!!

I get why they limit it (staffing) but it would be nice to get to choose which park you want to spend them in.

Pretty sure it was because of Starlight.

When they set the schedule for EEH it wasn’t known how many nights they’d need to rehearse Starlight pre-opening. So they gave themselves an extra few weeks.

And every so often they randomly throw in a different park. We got DHS on our arrival day in December on our last trip, which we loved. It wasn’t a party night, just a bonus.
