Extended evening hours Epcot plan

With gotg standby now how would you maximize deluxe evening hours. We have not seen luminous if we watch it and our ride priority is remy and gotg where would you watch and where would you go first? Assume people are not watching show and in line for last ride so both queues I anticipate to be long?

I think you probably would plan to enjoy just these two attractions; if you got a third attraction in it would be a nice bonus

I would start with Remy and then hustle on back to GOTG after riding. As long as you’re in line one minute before EEH is over you’ll be allowed to ride.

When I last did EEH at Epcot we rode GOTG, Soarin, and Spaceship Earth (in that order). Things are so far apart at Epcot that a lot of the time is eaten up on transit.

Thanks for your input! Was it during gotg standby? My concern is the whole park rushing the ride out their way out and the line being long forever!

During extended evening hours, I believe GOTG has always been standby. It definitely was this night

When we did this we watched fireworks from the entrance to World Showcase and hustled directly to GOTG

There was a 6pm VQ for GotG when VQs were used.

I suspect the line will be longer now that it’s stand-by.

I just looked back at my stuff from that trip, and we had a VQ that was called but we sat on it until after fireworks and did wait about 40 mins (because we weren’t the only ones with that idea)

I would aim to get in line 5 minutes before close. If it’s a long wait it won’t eat your extra time at least this way. I would watch fireworks from near France, then hightail it to Remy and then head for GotG (and if you get thru Remy really fast and have time for something else do it on the way).

I’m good on these fireworks. They are not nearly as good as MKs or the previous incarnation here so I’m a one and done. But we will also be doing Extra Evening Hours in Dec. My plan though is to focus on what used to be called Future World and I can’t keep the new names straight HA HA and jump in line for GotG at the last minute.
