Dinosaur isn’t gone yet. Its last day is Feb 1, 2026. It will still be around for this Thanksgiving week trip.
Ahh! You can tell I don’t have a trip until April.
Thanks for the correction! ![]()
It’s a CL8 day, so not for the weak of heart.
And yes, I read and re-read your post. There’s not a lot of AK EETPH insights out there, so appreciate you writing that up.
Still, 90 minutes at 7.58 is disheartening.
I have hopes for you that the TP is completely wrong! ![]()
I’ll report back! Honestly I really just wanted to ride EE over and over but TP is posting 25 minute waits at 7 and 7.30pm respectively. That’s why we have us arriving at FOP at 7.58. I would like to ride FOP twice though. We are paying for the llsp earlier in the day.
Hmmmm, was there something happening that day last year that’s skewing the wait times? Like a general late opening for AK, for example.
It’s as if the TP algorithm is treating it as a normal park close rather than EEH.
I guess we can try and summon @len to see if he has any insight…? ![]()
Howdy!
This is our first attempt to model After Hours events, so I can definitely take a look at the models for this. I know the modeling process has a “reduce waits for AH-like events by this much” number, so my guess is that number isn’t big enough.
Is Wednesday, Nov 5 a good date to look at for this?
We are going the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so I suspect last year same day/time would be identical (holiday etc).
A few bloggers did the first AK EETPH last year and they breezed through the night.
There is probably only 7-8 Wednesdays of data.
