This is probably the best compromise! ![]()
This is the best course for anything is truly a spoiler, whether asked for or not.
@ryan1 is right that the definition of a spoiler varies by individual, but if we can at least avoid anything that reveals the plot line of a ride or show (or anything that would reduce the “wow” factor on a first ride that you wouldn’t already see before getting on), that would be in line with our usual unspoken standard on the forum.
The article and video links work great because you have to click to get the real spoilers. Hopefully the preview image isn’t to telling. ![]()
I think much of the general discussion here has some details (which is quite fine) that some would rather not see.
I can gladly add spoiler alert to the title if desired.
I think I’m the only one who really wants it!

If it becomes an issue I am mature enough to politely step away!
I was just thinking how Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is supposed to open this year… If an Epic AP isn’t an option this year before HHN then a trip to Vegas might be a great option for DD23 & I. Take her to see magicians, comedy, crazy buffets and maybe a concert or something.
I’ll be so relieved just to know one way or the other if / when the AP are going to start!! ![]()
This is my thought too. I like having the vague outlines of what is coming. But, since I haven’t clicked on any links, I don’t think anything has been spoiled for me. The excitement of the people that have clicked on the links is enough for me.
This was a problem recently when we were discussing the Epic trip. They had known we were going again when Epic opened and asked about that trip. Daughter wanted details and I didn’t have any. But, in the end she was just happy that there would be a trip and it was going to be epic.
Okay Larry ![]()
That’s my way of saying I’m old!!
Old, but wise ![]()
Today is Stella Nova hotel’s opening day. Every vlogger is down there to “be first”!
![]()
They had a welcoming ceremony with character M&Gs.
The bar menu looks pretty good, but the picture I saw was hard to read even magnified.
Here’s the “room tour” video from UPNT
All right Larry, two questions for the expert.
-
How can the new hotels be a good bit cheaper than Endless Summer? ($200 vs $275)
-
Why is Stella Nova always $10 or so less than Terra Luna?
The general pubic still doesn’t understand how close these hotels are & how the transportation operates. Also, think they’re not open yet due to Epic still under construction. They’re driving business…
Plus, they want to showcase how “nice” these places are to spread the word before Epic opens.
(all of this is only my educated opinion)
Dockside versus Surfside is like this too!! It’s why I’ve stayed at Dockside more!! It’s a mystery!!

Are you trying to say these are just introductory rates, and maybe be on par with ES in a year?
I guess that’s the only thing I can think of…
Yep!
Now that there’s more hotels in each “tier”, IMHO, they’ll all start to be within a smaller price range.
CBBR is the one I’m interested in seeing how it’s new “tier” affects it’s rate.
I’m really digging the vibe of these rooms! Looks very swanky, despite being cheap.
This I don’t get, because if I understand correctly, Stella Nova will be closer * to Epic than Terra Luna. Is there a noticeable difference in quality? If they’re differentiating for differentiation sake, they should go the other way around.

Seeing multiple sources say the Stella Nova rooms suffer from the same noise issues as Endless Summer. Laminate floors make every sound in the halls and above you echo and make sleep much harder. Plus, there’s an issue that when rain hits the glass windows it makes a “tapping” sound with each drop. I did watch a video of this and it would drive me crazy if I was trying to go to sleep…
These are the “value” hotels. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I had hoped UOR would’ve taken all the feedback from noise issues at Endless Summer into consideration for this project.
We haven’t been bothered by hallway noise at all and unfortunately the rain tapping hasn’t really caused us any problems BUT-
We have already seen ADULTS slipping and falling in the revolving doors in the lobby.
Not saying this is faulty but that with weather conditions and as fast as those doors revolve people really need to proceed with caution and put there cell phone cameras down and pay attention.
Edited to say we don’t normally stay in the values. We have never been to dockside or endless summer I have a tendency to stay in larger off property resorts-that said I can’t make a comparison between values but I will say this in inclement weather there is nothing here to do as far as activities beyond the park.
I saw the gift shop leaking during the rain as well… ![]()
Glad you are having a good time!! I’ve been keeping up with your TR as well. Hope the antihistamines don’t make you sleep the day away!!
