it makes me feel a bit resentful that both Disney are Universal seem to be heading into the direction of ring fencing the most pleasant evening hours (which used to be part of a regular park day/ticket, at least at Disney) behind a paywall for a separate group of guests

100% agree. I’ll be very annoyed if they schedule one of these during my upcoming visit in December.

Epic has been closing at 9 so I think this is an addition/ not a reduction.

I am unsure if the Informer Epic night does have the park close early in December?

The Epic 10/3 night is much less than my 10/3 HHN booking.

I was at UOR in early December last year and Epic stayed open till 10:00.

I have only been tracking this year but I think they have been generally open until 9 (10-9 with EE at 9). I think 12/16 will be earlier for the Informer Meet Up? I also wonder if it could be 10 on the nights the Informer Meet Ups are in the other parks?

“Double-selling” the parks each day was really the worst innovation . . .

I was planning for a 9:00 close when I am there in October, so was happy to see this wouldn’t cut into our hours (not that there is one that weekend).

I agree with @Jeff_AZ this is a nice option for AP holders for now.

Epic was routinely closing at 10:00 when I was there in December 2025; not just on Informer nights at the legacy parks. That doesn’t necessarily predict what the closing time will be in December this year.
