Yeah…I wasn’t sure how much the rumor about CP becoming a new “CityWalk” was being discussed.
I didn’t think that these are removable had been mentioned. I’d hate the anesthetic of them always being in front of each portal!

I hate the idea of lining up again like at entry every time I want to switch portals. Maybe it’s not as bad as I’m thinking it would be…
The facial recognition system is pretty smooth. However, if Universal does open up Celestial Park in the evenings, I think the logistics of moving between portals is going to be a hassle. You’ll have to queue, at least a little bit, at each portal and to ride Stardust Racers.
I’m not sure how I feel about Celestial Park becoming open to the general public during park hours. If the restaurants are empty this will help, but it interupts the full day ticket paying guest experience…
I wonder how much time I have until it happens
. We may be there and gone, fingers crossed…
I enjoyed Yoshi with my kids. It was our first Epic ride. Must do at least once.
It made me smile. Do I have to do it every visit? No, but it can make you smile.
I remembered this plan earlier today when we were eating at Pizza Moon @Jeff_AZ . The food was very good. I think your family will enjoy it. Is that still your plan?
Yes that is still our plan! We watched a video about Epic food this week and a lot of the restaurants seem too adventurous for my kids. We liked Blue Dragon and Pizza Moon best. Oak and Star Tavern may be our 3rd choice.
We almost did Oak and Star but were so happy we did Pizza Moon.
Have you tried Das Steakhaus? I haven’t heard much about it. It’s been what I wanted to try since announced.
Dark Universe is not really our vibe, and the gimmicks for the food there seemed a little over the top for my tastes. But maybe next time I’m there on a solo trip. We’ll see!
We tried it last August and we enjoyed it! My DH and DS both had the steak. For the price, the steaks were obviously much smaller and thinner than what you would typically get in regular restaurant, and they were more well done than they typically like (DH prefers his steak to moo). But overall the atmosphere was really cool! We enjoyed the fact that it was a quick service but felt more like a table service since you mobile order and they bring the food to your table. The only negative that I recall is the after effects from the Blood Orange Chicken Sandwich. While it looked cool and tasted pretty good, without getting into TMI, all that food coloring in the black bun causes some scary things to happen!
This is fun - US figure skating team goes to Epic!
I don’t know everyone but definitely see Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, Jason Brown, Andrew Torg, plus there are tags of a few others who I don’t really know.
Yes! It was delicious. ![]()
Need Epic Advice! Should we follow this Nintendo first: MOM last plan if we are fine with rope dropping 7:30am at Grand Helios entrance? This is the advice I’ve seen all over the place. Does it ever make sense to head to MOM first if you are at the head of the line? We just crushed all of WDW, and the old Universal parks over the past week. Sitting by the pool at Hard Rock with a rest day tomorrow moving to Grand Helios and don’t want to make the wrong moves with our 2 park days at Epic. BG1, WM and Express Pass have carried our trip and now I just feel like I need to finish strong but only have Helios EPA and standby lines to work with. TIA Legends!
You have two park days? You got this!
I would. I would head straight to Donkey Kong and save battle for night.
You linked the Ride Ready page here. Is this an example? What is this?
Thanks! Sorry, I meant just the “optimal ride order” on this page. Saw it mentioned a while back and wondered what the experts here thought. Only have my phone and couldn’t find the info easily on here.
Thanks! I was really confused by the Dark Universe 9am times when it doesn’t open until 10.
Where is Monsters on your plan?I see Werewolf on your plan. The highest I saw it over the weekend was 40 minutes. I rode with a single rider that waited less than 5 (she said).
The optimal ride order in your screenshots is consistent with what I have seen / heard from other sources.
ETA: Except the source below my post, apparently.

No it’s not advised to go to SNW first thing in the morning. Which days are you planning on going?
