AP preview dates should be getting announced in March.

Universal announced reservations for Team Member Family Preview days will open on Wednesday, March 12, at 8:30 a.m. The family preview days will be from March 17 – 25, and 29 – 31.
Team members will receive four tickets to use for entry to Epic Universe for themselves and up to three family members. Family is considered those closest to you like a spouse, domestic partner, children, parents, and siblings. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis via the Universal External Ticket Distribution System (ETDS). Team members can reserve one date at a time per reservation session but can reserve additional dates if they rejoin the virtual queue.

Single day tickets for epic universe are now available for everyone. People in Reddit are saying the first available dates are in June.

Just extended our trip in November–December!
Added on 1 Epic day and 1 Stella night.
So now we’ve got the three-day package plus and additional Epic day:
Stella / Epic
Stella / Epic
Stella / IoA & USF
HRH / IoA & USF
Then on to WDW…

That makes sense because Epic opens the last week of May.

FYI the online portal for purchasing tickets isn’t working at the moment. (I extended my package over the phone.)
Earlier I was able to get to the ticket-selection page, but after proceeding to choose the date etc. it kept dumping me back to the ticket-selection page.

Currently a 3 park Seasonal Pass (lowest tier) is $575 with tax included. You have to go to VB twice and the other two parks four separate dates to get value. It’s pretty easy to get people to stay for four nights with this pass…
The current base price for Epic with tax is approximately $197.
As a hypothetical, I think a “fair” increase to add Epic to a 2 Park Seasonal Pass (no VB) would be $875, about $400 more. That adds two dates of Epic value. You can add VB for $100 per usual
That price also equals 4 days of Epic single ticket value if someone only used the pass to go there exclusively.
I think for that price you could easily see people increasing their stays from 4 days to 5 - 6 days or people doing multiple trips in a single year for the first time - especially if Epic is as amazing as predicted and UOR hotels maintain their $100 - $200 / night rates.
I’m guessing if single ticket sales / hotel reservations are strong through August they will hold off on APs with Epic until 2026.

Yes, you have to call to make changes to your booking or even to book. The internet keeps erroring out and in weird ways, youre missing an address, technical difficulties, date is not in right format (when it is). Even on the phone the lady had to try 5 times and then was calling support and it finally went thru on the 6th try.
But we’re in. I switched to Helios since I switched to 2 days in Epic. So now we’ve got Helios hotel, 1 day park ticket to Epic for the first full day, then a 1 day park to park ticket for the old parks + the 1 day Epic ticket starting on the 2nd day. We bought universal express unlimited for the third day which is when we plan to knock out our faves from the two old parks in 1 day. She did state she believes there will be Express for Epic at some point, not guaranteed but what she hears.

Single day tickets don’t appear to be selling out, which I was curious about.
Solidified our August plan this weekend. My kid (14) and I, plus a good friend of mine, are at Helios 2 nights, with 2 Epic days, mid-August. Then kid and I will probably jump over to WDW for a few days. We are very excited and ready to see some post-opening/preview reviews!
