Epcot Tier 1 LL access worse with new MLL

Looking at Thrill Data for Nov. 23 vs Nov. 24 it is becoming clear that, with just three Tier 1 rides available for Multipass LL at Epcot, Remy and Frozen LLs are being booked up before park opening for crowd levels over 7 or 8. For example, Remy LLs were completely gone by park opening on 18 days in Nov. '24 while they were available every day at opening in Nov. '23. On the 12 days that passes were available in '24 they were gone by 10am. Doesn’t this feel like MLL for Epcot is worse now for Tier 1 rides? Soaring seems to be okay, but basically anyone going on a level 7 or greater day is now going to be forced to wait in line for either Frozen or Remy. Anyone found a work around?

I feel like MP atEpcot is the worst! In my view they have 4 major rides that can have long waits: Frozen, Remy, TT and Soarin. The rest can be manageable. They need to put GotG on the Tier 1 and take TT or Soarin off.
The availability was much better under Genie+. Disney needs to also hold back more inventory for Tier 1 at Epcot for day of. Animal Kingdom is in a similar position with the amount of rides available but they seem to have much less demand. Even day of availability at HS seems a bit better now with MP.
ETA: sorry, no solution. Remy has the better chance for day of drops for whatever that’s worth.

Interesting. Hopefully this will improve again once TT reopens?

Possible workarounds: Remy has predictable drops (times are in La Cava, and in BG1). I’ve also read that Remy has started a SR queue (though have not yet read how well that’s working).

Plus RD of course: if coming from IG, you can even rope drop first Remy then Frozen with relatively decent wait times. From the front of the park, Frozen is a great choice for rope drop.

I was in Epcot a predicted CL7 day that ended up as a CL6 last month, and walked onto Frozen at EE rope drop (I walked briskly, and my front of the park crowd arrived slightly before the IG crowd). I then headed over to Soarin - still before regular park open - and had only a 10 min standby wait. I did a tap-and-run at Pixar Shorts after coming out of Soarin (so around 9.15) and still managed to grab a LL for a second ride on Frozen at 7pm.

(1) If you are staying on-site, book LL for Remy and RD Frozen at Early Entry.

(2) Book Frozen LL and take your chances with Remy same day LL drops (this is risky so you have to be ok with the possibility of missing out on an LL for Remy).

(3) Book LL for Remy and refresh/modify as much as possible same day to try to luck into a Frozen LL.

(4) Skip Frozen (this is what we did last trip)

Option five - book frozen and SR Remy. If the SR line is long, come back later!

But seriously, EPCOT is terrible right now for LL.

I love Epcot and will generally visit it 2 days, even on a shorter trip. I feel like the cost of the MP for what you really need it for is high. I would use 3 or 4 LLs per day. That’s a rip off. But I couldn’t get them all in 1 day. I think it should cost about the same as AK. There’s 3 - 4 rides where you will save a ton of time and the rest is maybe shaving off 10-15 mins. They need at least 2 new attractions in Epcot and 1 needs to be a Tier 1.

We did a LL Remy and a skip Frozen. 1:47 drop time yielded nothing for us (using BG1). Party of 4 got me. I could get it for two. This was the day before Thanksgiving. This was perfectly fine for us and we also didn’t roll in until 9:30am.

This wil hopefully be solved when Test Track re-opens later this year. We are going in March (staying on site) and plan on rope dropping Frozen and LL Remy.

Yes, it seems the worst. When TT reopens it should get a little better. Seems you can easily easily pick up Soarin day of though. If they moved Soarin to Tier 2 though, that would be hard to get as the top Tier 2. It should be like AK with no tiers.

Hi Epcot lover. I don’t see many on here. I could easily spend days too.

The problem with no tier would be Frozen and Remy. They don’t have enough rides to have tiers- agreed. But they would need to find a way to spread out the inventory for these 2 rides while also leaving some for day of drops. If their were no tiers resort guests with longer trips will snatch up Remy AND Frozen- making LLMP very undesirable for everyone else.

My next trip will most likely be Food and Wine focused. I would like to visit Epcot almost every day!
