Epcot Forever: Viewing Location

Is there any specific viewing location that is better than anywhere else for Epcot Forever? Or is it, like the last nighttime “spectactular” best viewed from the Italy/America and/or Entrance to WS? Or does it not matter?

I expect we’ll be in France before the show if that helps

I haven’t watched since right around the debut. I know it doesn’t have a dedicated front like Harmonious did but there might be better spots.

Anywhere is good along the water. Not like you have to align yourself with the stargate

Perfect.

I really enjoyed being over near the popcorn cart in Canada that one time - it was very uncrowded there and since position is not super important I think we’ll head that way this time too

Thanks for the info!

The 2nd floor balcony of the Japan pavilion looked good too. We didn’t stay, but people were sitting on the stairs for the show.

I’m by no means an expert, but based on my recollection, the fireworks are generally above this area (circled in red):

So just make sure you don’t have any trees or other obstructions in your line of sight. You don’t need to be right on the water’s edge or see the lagoon necessarily.

I recommend you do NOT waste a lot of time staking out a spot. It’s not worth it and you’ll be disappointed for investing too much into it. Just stop what you’re doing five minutes before and stop to watch.

It’s good, and maybe you’ll even cry (because apparently that’s your thing). But it’s not great. Not spectacular. Just a good, fun way to top off your Epcot day.

I am excited that we will see all three nighttime spectaculars though one will be MNSSHP vs HEA which is a little bummer to me but still mostly okay
