ECV's on water transportation

Hello,

My family, including my mother who has mobility issues and uses an ECV will be visiting WDW in Feb 2018. We are staying at Fort Wilderness and will have our own car and are planning to drive to most parks and Disney Springs and utilize handicap parking, however, we were hoping to take the water taxi on our Magic Kingdom days. My question is whether or not ECV’s can be taken on the water taxi?

There are two sizes of boats. The larger boats, are usually running between FtW and MK, and EVCs can roll on/off.
