When comparing to all listings 2-nights or longer it is about 26% under median price for August.
When comparing to just listings 5-nights or longer it looks even better!
You can see in this chart, there are very, very few >=5-night listings around this price point.
If you’d like to compare this BW price vs all dates, still looks great!

Thanks for the info, this is great! I’m guessing allot of this is due to it being off season and HOT but we’re fine and prepared for that. Looks like we just need to finalize a few things and then pull the trigger. I just love the idea of walking to HS and EP and getting in on those evenings extended hours!

I know you can’t answer.
We’ve been there in mid to late August a few times, it is pretty brutal - but staying in that Crescent Lake area was great since we were able to split the days into two parts and head back to the hotel to cool down and rest. Really made a difference.
For the most part, that later August time period through September does see a lot of really nice pricing.
@JJT how can I see the charts for average pricing in the month of December for an AKL 1BR (Jambo, if it matters)
When I do get my future search engine / site going I hope to include regularly updated charts for all the resort / room type / month combos for reference.
For now I just generate these on the fly - here’s the Dec Jambo 1BR charts.
I dropped the green bar at 20% under the orange median just for some point of reference.
Not a high volume room on dedicateds by any means.
Looking at when Dec listings for this room appear, for this December we’re 54 days from the start of the month.
So IF one could call the small number of super-discounted listings below the green bar a cluster, we’re sitting right in the middle of a clusterdrop right about now for those.
But, even so: there ain’t many of those so the best you might expect to see for this room is right at median, if any.

3-night OKW Studio 01/18 orig $250/night now $210/n or 26% under median
This is a very nice price - although we’ll likely see at least some listings much lower than $210 as we get nearer to January. But, you’d have to be able to play the waiting and sniping game to grab one. I would not do that if I really needed to have a room locked in for January.
6-night BW Studio 12/18 for $310/night or 25% under median vs all dates or more like 40% under vs past December listings!
November? I don’t recall seeing many November deals. The points chart isn’t the cheapest. And November isn’t the slow season anymore. I’ve wondered the same about my trip. I’ve been looking for several months and haven’t seen anything interesting.

The SSR that I was watching got snapped up. It was 11/3 x 3 nights. I am glad. The longer it lingered the more I was tempted!
