Are there any studios that legitimately go for 125 points a night? ![]()
Ha! I do not know, but I can’t imagine it. But, I don’t really pay attention to points at all beyond that my scripts catch what they post.
Same. One of these days I’ll get around to mapping out point values for listings, but the request usually comes from DVC members which is a small make up of people who actually book these reservations. Which I think is interesting because alot of these brokers advertise the per point values on these listings as a major selling point. Not saying that it DOESN’T indicate value, but I feel like that it is only helpful to a small subset of shoppers.
There’s absolutely not any studios that go for 125 points a night. If I had to guess a new Poly tower TP view studio is probably the most expensive. I just looked at a BLT grand villa (2 floors!) is 120 on a weeknight in Feb!
1-night SSR Studio 09/30 for $153/night or 48% under median
4-night Poly Studio 05/10 for $425/night or 19% under
I just got this email but I think it’s a good deal. I copied the link but if it doesn’t work, DM me and I will forward you the actual email.

You might catch a few lower priced 5-nighers in May, but they would be a little unicorrny.
This is one of the weeks penciled in for next spring! I wish I could jump on it.
DVC Search engine update: Previously in the thread I mentioned that Caspio, the service I use to host the data and search engine has eliminated the free plan completely as of October 1st.
Just in time for WDWs and my own birthday!

Their lowest tier of service is a ridonculous $100/month - AND it does not even include the number of records I need to host the active listings along with the previous year’s past listings for comparison. The next tier up is $300 and they should be ashamed of themselves.
With work projects (stoopid EPA reporting) and home stuff I haven’t had time to build anything new I like. and I’ve tried a few things. I do have one new plan for a new combo of software to use.
| BUT - I wanted to say that @len and TouringPlans have graciously offered to pay the the hosting for a few months to keep it going. | ![]() |
Hopefully I can get both my ducks in a row and cover my bases (probably with ducks) so I can jump over to a new site.
That’s amazing news! Thanks @JJT and @len for this amazing tool (which found my AKL/BR stay this week).
Huzzah!
Thanks @len ! This is a very worthy investment in a project that has served so many Liners!
This is exciting.
Thank you all for perpetuating my new favorite thread!
That’s amazing! Thanks @len !
So @JJT, it’s not one of those things where you can just sign up with any number of unused email adresses and call it a day? ![]()
That’s so wonderful!!! Thank you @len and the gang.
Thank you so much @len ! I have booked about 5 deals based on this tool and it has saved me a bundle!
I’m just happy to be a part of this plan! @JJT has an excellent tool here.
Nothing exciting this morning, but some weirdness:
Both of the May OKW studios that first appeared late yesterday have increased this morning by $30/night.
Have seen that at least a few times now, not sure what evil magic they are conjuring there.
Thanks both to @JJT for this search engine and @len for keeping it going. We appreciate both of you!
Well now. Isn’t that sneaky…
May is my favorite time to travel (as soon as school is out). But DD will graduate in December, but walk 5/8 and DS graduation is 5/9.
I mean. I COULD get to WDW by 5/10…
