DVC rentals - do they get a midweek room service?

I think I know the answer to this, but if we are staying 8 nights renting DVC points, do we get any room service/towel exchange even if mid week?

If not, can we pay to add one?

And for the laundry machines at the BWV, are they HE machines where you can use the pods, or do I need to bring old fashioned detergent?

At BWV they usually empty the trash when they do the daily room security check. You can use the in room “hey Disney” to ask for towels, coffee, cups or anything you need, for free. The pods will work,

Thank you! This was so helpful. I’m glad I’m staying 8 nights (Vs 7)! I will look forward to the day 4 full service cleaning.

Good to know I can use an app to request more towels and that trash service is generally take care of.

This has been our experience. Daily trash removal with room check. When we’re in the room we might ask for extra whatever - dishwasher soap, etc.

I know we’re to get a full clean midweek but I think we usually decline if we’re in the room at the time. We agree to a towel replenish but we don’t feel a full cleaning is necessary.

Just need to double check this point - as a DVC renter, I can request additional coffee pods at no cost?

Yes, you can ask for more pods/ premade coffee packets (for the drip coffee), cups, creamer, anything you need. I usually ask for more coffee and cups on day one.

I feel like there are always housekeeping carts around in the mornings and you can ask any of them. From past experience they will load you up!
