Dummy Acct

Quick question that’s probably better for chat yet here i am

After reading about LL and how having an ADR will knock out 90 mins of your time where they won’t let you book a LL i decided to create a dummy account for a couple of my brunch ADR’s. My question is how strict are they with the name on the ressie? For ex. I made the dummy account with my maiden name but I have zero forms of ID that have that last name on them. I have screenshots of my reservation and will have the confirmation # and email. Just curious if anyone has had trouble if your name isn’t the real name on the ADR.

I book for my niece all the time and she just gives them my name. Never had an issue.

I have never been asked for anything than the name on the reservation. Shouldn’t be an issue.

The main reason it’s helpful to book under an account you control is so you can modify it and complete online check-in from your phone. Other than that, the reservation can be in any person’s name and under any person’s account, whether they are present or not. Just need to know the name and reservation time.

I used a dummy account to help with the overlap. The downside is that you can’t see you ADR times in your plans, and you have to log out and then into the dummy to modify. That’s the main thing. I discuss the summy account and other ways around the 90 min limits in this post and thought it might be useful:
