I am going to finish this report (as usual there are lots of twists and surprises) but I was going through my photos and found a few “interesting” ones.

So I should probably change the title of this report, because there was no Rick Springfield after all. It’s all good, I’m not upset or anything. The night of the concert Dh had some tummy troubles and we had to bail. It’s actually better it happened on the first day of our trip, because the rest was smooth sailing (and last day was pretty awesome!)
Dh loves Chef Mickey so we had breakfast there Monday morning. Delicious and fun as usual.
We rope dropped Buzz after breakfast. The new ride is great! I love that the targets light up and your blaster buzzes when you score. Also that one rider has red and one has green lasers. I still can’t beat dh, though.
We walked over to 7DMT and the line wasn’t wrapped around to the Circus area so we hopped on. We sat up front and it was surprisingly smooth. I hate coasters but love this ride.
We then rode COP, PeopleMover and Pirates. Got some cute Photo Pass pics on the way out of MK.
We hoped a boat to the Grand Floridian so I could shop at Basin White and then monorailed to Contemporary to have lunch at their food court and drive our car back to ASM.

Glossing over Monday night’s unfortunate events, all was well by morning and we headed to Epcot. We always like to rope drop Remy but that’s a long walk from the Epcot bus drop off, so we bus to HS and hop on the skyliner to the IG entrance of Epcot! It’s become an enjoyable routine for us now. The new 2-D Remy did not impress me. Both dh and I found it a bit blurry even.
Dh loves the Epcot hunts and the prizes for the Spike hunt were really cute this time, little dancing flowers, so we walked around the world to find Spike, then got on the Frozen ride.
Flower and Garden festival is always beautiful, but you could definitely tell that Disney plant life took a hit during our cold snap this year. They have added some really cute PP pics, though.
The Snow White topiary horrified some visitors, but Sulley was lacking in bulk lol.
And now I just saw the poor placement of red flowers in his crotchel area. Oh, my.

And now Alexa and I are not on speaking terms due to the whole, “How do you spell “crotchel” thing. She and I are having many more disagreements since she upgraded to + and became a moody teenager who talks back.

Personally I would have gone for “crotchal” because “crotchel” sounds more like an alternative term for a fanny pack. But when you’re making up words, all is fair.

Where were we? Ah, Epcot. We finished up WS and ate some lunch at Connections, followed by the butterfly house and Figment. It was still early in the festival so I only spotted two kinds of butterflies.
Strange fact, but after Hurricane Ivan (21 years ago!) our area was devoid of butterflies, squirrels, birds and wildlife in general for many years. So many downed trees. It took quite a while to get back to a semblance of normal. Tree frogs are still a bit of a rarity but that makes them even more special. I guess the possums and armadillos were too fat to be blown away, ‘cause we still have plenty of them.
