Yea ok. Valid concerns. And also could you “sacrifice” one image to not use in the future for the potential to win 20 grand and get on Disney’s radar?

Dude. You’re creating artificial barriers for yourself. It’s one image.
Do you want to be an official Disney artist, or do you want to worry about licensing issues and “getting caught” with each new piece? You love creating these images. How much better would it be if you didn’t feel like you were doing something wrong? When something helps us to create timelessness, making time pass without notice, we need to do more of it. Not create resistance. You need to create this art. The world needs your gift.

I think I’m being misunderstood here. I’m not resistant to doing it and I’m definitely going to make something to enter. I just always disagreed with that quote/idea cause it’s been used on me so many times throughout the years (and I can cite many a chance I took I wish I hadn’t) 
I am already brainstorming, and I’m also not thinking of just keeping it to 1 entry (if I can, not a whole lot of time before 9/10, which is the ending deadline). I mighta just bought a new tablet and I mighta just been itchin’ to play with it (I collect these things like Pokemon at this point 
).
I’m bummed whatever I create won’t be able to be used (ahem…officially 
) in anything and it’s only for the contest, but that’s pretty normal for these things. They get full rights to use it even if you don’t win (which is weird if you really think about it, cause it’s not like they revisit it years later and think “y’know…this WAS ok…let’s make it!”)
