I’ve gone for Thanksgiving and it was very manageable with what was then MaxPass and multiple days. I think we had three full days in the park and we had rest time. We ate Turkey at Disneyland Hotel on Thanksgiving Day, and watched the UT game in what was then the ESPN zone and spent time ice skating in Downtown Disney and did every single attraction and show in the parks. But I’ve never gone Christmas
But I agree with large groups and non-Disney people that a cruise is better. People can do what they want and then meet up for meals and fireworks, etc. It’s perfect way of accommodating different tastes and not having to do things you don’t want to but still seeing family.
