Disney Visa and Other Credit Referrals

Have you tried using that browser extension that shows you the cost in miles in Google Flights?

ETA: Points Path

I haven’t yet. But once we finalize a destination hopefully in a month or 2) I will start narrowing down the flights more.

United is not a budget carrier. I haven’t flown them much, but they are comparable to Delta or American.

Thank you! We will have 2 younger boys with us. This isn’t a terribly long flight either. But I don’t want to make the wrong decision for everyone. It seems as I am the planner in the family for vacations, lol. My sister has no time, my brother choose Iceland (not going to happen), DS has no money so he gets little say- he also doesn’t care much. Moms too cheap- we will be tent camping at the airport trailer park if left up to her. So it seems I’m in charge (not complaining, lol)

Was updating a few of my links in the spreadsheet - another reminder to people that many links have expired in the sheet now.

You can easily see if yours was expired or came up ā€œOffer Not Availableā€ last time it was tested as the box in column A has been checked, making the row gray. They are sorted at the bottom of the sheet.

Looks like some people’s referral links need refreshing again!

The $400 bonus is back on the Disney Visa Premier!

What if I’m holding a regular (non-Premier) Disney Visa, which I previously downgraded from a Premier. Am I eligible for the bonus if I upgrade to the Premier?

I’m guessing not.

When was your last premier bonus?

And I think you have to apply for the premier not upgrade

And the referral links aren’t showing the bonus…so I’m going to wait a few days to see if that pops up. If not, I might message Chase after I apply

Link Refresh time again if you haven’t updated yours in the Google sheet lately!

If the checkbox for an expired link is checked for your referral be sure to UNcheck it when you update your link! Also update the edit date so it makes it easier to see the last time it was changed.

Disney Visa in particular has gone up:
Premier = $400 statement credit
Standard = $200 credit

Annual fee not waived on Premier, but net worth it to get that one then downgrade after you’ve had the card for a year.

Of course, if you are playing the larger game with points credit cards, these are very likely NOT worth a Chase 5/24 slot.

But, if you just want to use some Disney math and attribute the cash back to your trip, is an easy spend to get up to $800 statement credits plus referral bonuses when playing in 2-player mode by referring your spouse/partner/friend back and forth.

I just went to look at my referral links in the sheet and was getting errors - so I tried updating them and Chase keeps saying ā€œURL is incorrectā€ for even the NEW referral links.

So, if you are trying to use one today, could be Chase’s site is having a mini meltdown.
It often does.

Thanks I was wondering about this! I guess I’ll try again tomorrow or later this week

Looks like they’re working again now!

Looks like Chase Ink, Sapphire, and SW card referral links in the Google Sheet may need to be refreshed if you posted them in October or earlier!

Related: Anyone playing the Rakuten game, the $40 referral offer is back: If someone signs up using your referral you and the other person both get $40.

If you have your Rakuten set to earn Amex Membership Rewards instead of cash, you’ll get 4,000 MR worth about $64 using base values.

(This is not my referral link, just a link to the page to generate your own link. I put my referral in the Google Sheet.):

I believe the new account needs to make a qualifying purchase through Rakuten within 90 days.

Happy New Year!

Just want to point out that almost everyone’s links in the referral spreadsheet have long expired.

Since there were more than 40 expired rows of data, I created a separate ā€œExpired Linksā€ tab now and moved them all there since I didn’t want to just delete them outright on anyone. :slight_smile:

You can either enter your current referrals in a new row in the Current Links tab, or edit the one in the Expired tab and copy it back into the current. (If you do that, don’t forget to un-check the box in the ā€œExpired or Not Available Last Time Link Checkedā€ column.)

Keeping us on our toes! I’ll add some this evening. I need to make a plan on which cards to work on next. Hope plenty of liners update their links. I will definitely check the spreadsheet when I’m ready to apply for DH and myself.
