Disney Jollywood Nights

Looking at that, I may need to go more than once if I plan to eat everything

I really enjoyed the Kimchee funnel cake last year. I was surprised! I wanted to try the popovers, but the queue was always too long

I’ll have to check my tr from last year. Then again, I’m bad at finishing them, so I may not have included full detail of what food I had at Jollywood

The queues were so long until after 11pm that I was only able to eat at the funnel cake booth. I had both of them. The funnel cakes, themselves, were just ā€œokā€. The toppings were the better parts

Found it

Sadly doesn’t look like Ruben will be returning

I remember that! I didn’t get it though. I do love Reubens!

I’m thinking the same because me, myself, and I can only eat so much in one evening with so many other things to do!

Thanks for keeping us up to date!

Look, @LTinNC82, Duffy will be there!

I’ll probably try one or two of the sweet treats, maybe some cocoa if it’s cool enough that night. The savory stuff either doesn’t sound that appealing or wouldn’t work for my finicky digestive system. I’ll check out the reviews after the first party, but probably just have dinner before the party starts. I’m more interested in rides and shows anyway.

I broke down and bought a ticket for our arrival night. Hopefully we aren’t too exhausted. I was trying to keep it relaxed but I always end up packing in soooo much lol. I’m still going to try to take it easy at the party and maybe even take my time getting there.
We land at 10 am, check into poly, relax until the party, then we can sleep in the next day.
Relax until the party at MK, switch to AKL, then park hopper day AK & EP and then next day is check out flying at 4 pm. It’s a long day the first day but I figure we should check it out. Especially cause it’s the only way we would get to HS this trip.
I made a reservation for the Jazzy brown derby at 9:05, hoping to walk out of there in time for the 10pm show.

For our MK party day I just picked up Ohana for 5:00 but I also have a Liberty Tree Res for 6pm. I’ve never eaten at either. What is everyone’s opinion on where to eat OR neither? I thought a thanksgiving dinner would be on theme but the poly is also convenient to our plans and I’ve never been. Everyone seems to say it’s overpriced but they keep going anyway lol

I am still deciding whether to go or not! I would like to know the full ride list but doesn’t seem to be online anywhere yet

Watching some of the first reviews of last night - I am sooo excited. Every dead end ally has a dance party with lights and projections, there is original music, all kinds of projections, tons of cute photo ops and

Dr. Strange!

(Blurred for suprise walk around character)

That is a tiny stage with so many skaters! That is not enough surface to set up the ā€œOlympicā€ big jumps!

DD was a competitive ice skater growing up. By the time she was 8, we stopped going to Disney on Ice. She sat critiquing every move! Not fun for me to listen to her! The skating was poor but it is a fun time for non skaters.

I suppose all that critiquing set her up, as an adult, to take classes and get her judging certificate for tests and competitions.

I’ll watch the skating when I’m at Jollywood!

Me, too! That is very impressive about your DD.

We’ve seen several ice skating shows on RCL cruises. They have more room and more skaters - plus they have to deal with the movement of the ship that is underway!

For Disney and RCL, these shows aren’t anything at all like a true Olympic skating rink, but they’re good enough - as entertainment under limited conditions.
