Oh that is good to hear! I mean when you let someone in your home for 30+ minutes a week (in this case to share Disney news), it’s nice to know they are a decent human being. I like the style of her news videos – very personable.

I like the style of the videos, but I hate the clickbait aspect of the titles of her videos and her news posts.

I differentiate a little between the normal posts and the weekly news update. There is a slightly different style in both the titles and the content, especially for the written articles. The videos are always narrated by her but they are written and produced by staff.

Long time no see! How is motherhood treating you? Your little one must be - what - 2 ish now? Am I way off?

IMHO the list of “acceptable” targets in our society is TOO LONG, Disney Adults being one of them. And by target, I mean shameless insults and shaming of said group. I could spout off my list but I don’t want to start anything  :zipper_mouth_face: Live and Let Live :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I got the same impression. It was…fine. I didn’t love the writing.

I consider myself an Amusement Park Adult more than a Disney Adult. I’d take a free trip to Cedar Point, for example, over a trip to Disney World. But that being said, I feel like I can’t share that particular interest with people because it gets judged in the same way Disney does. People assume amuseument parks are for kids and I’m a weirdo for having a season pass to my local one even though I don’t have children.

Not too far off– she’ll be 3 next month! They are not kidding when they say it goes SO FAST! She’s the absolute best and most fun. This is a great age.

We’re taking her to WDW with a big group in November. Bummer that she needs her own ticket ($$$), but I’ve been busy inculcating her in all things Disney… Her current favorite is Moana. VERY excited to meet Moana, but very disappointed she won’t get to meet Te Ka. (Why is her favorite character/part of the movie the scary red lava monster? No one knows…)

amusement parks are there for the amusement park of all…. but everyone has their preferences. Disney does family accessible well and Universal does thrill rides well. Some people like coasters and go for those parks and some need a more relaxed feel. But I think Disney does theming really well, I love the attention to detail; I’ve always been amazed by it. I don’t understand why adults should be looked down for appreciating Disney or any other park. I don’t look down on the hooligans at a football game (soccer)… ok I do sometimes but not because they are at the game but their behavior when it turns violent is judge worthy :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

we met the photographer that took this picture after a Manchester v Liverpool game

Jim Hutchenson is Scottish btw. We met in in Carcasoone, France. He is the dad of the person we are doing a pet sit for. Lovely man, I need to go back and get pictures of his pictures. You can see Mohammad Ali by his head there…. He’s retired now.
