Dining Plan Menu Options

We have the Disney Dining Plan. I get that some restaurants require one voucher, whilst other, upscale places, require two vouchers. But after this are their still restrictions on the menu.

Most we have ate at there are not. Some have a few, especially with desserts!

In our experience there are very, very few restrictions. Unless a dish shows as for more than one person on the menu it is usually available on the dining plan (excluding appetisers of course)

We split a meal for two using the dining plan. You can do it but it takes 2 table credits.

One other thing to keep in mind is that unless you are on the deluxe plan appetizers will cost extra. You can now trade a dessert for a soup or salad but not an appetizer- right?

That’s great thanks, can anyone confirm what Principal said about switching desert out; we were under impression any two course - without realizing that just meant soup.

Yes it’s just soup, a side salad or a fruit plate. There’s a touring plans blog about the changes to the DDP which is really helpful, I will try to post a link.

Hope this works, I am a bit technologically challenged.

Kona and Bongos would not switch dessert for appetizers. I did try to get a salad instead of dessert. I did ask.

Oh! It says it is not guaranteed https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/media/wdw_nextgen/CoreCatalog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2016Dining.pdf
