Dining on a Budget

We have done it several times, for both Wishes and HEA. We love it, and it has little to do with the actual desserts. We prefer the view from the Garden, and appreciate that it is uncrowded and you can see the projections and fireworks perfectly. When you see the huge number of people outside the party area smashed together, with lots of people with kids on their shoulders blocking views…you will realize that every penny you spent for the dessert party was worth it. We won’t watch fireworks in the hub as a family unless at the dessert party anymore, it is just too crowded otherwise. We were there on Easter this year, and arrived to the dessert party early, maybe 30 minutes before the reservation time. We were some of the first inside and enjoyed sitting down for a bit with the desserts before it became crowded.

We also do breakfast in our room every day. Having breakfast for four in our room saves at least $40/day. Not to mention the time savings!

Since you mentioned Garden Grill and the Candlelight Processional package…I’m pretty sure that GG offers one at all three meals. So you could mix Biergarten (unless you’re just wanting to go there) and get the dining package at GG.
