Another deluxe hotel on points tonight: taking college tours of Georgetown and George Washington so booked the Park Hyatt for the night since it is close to one and closeish to the other.

We had an exceptional experience at Ale & Compass (Yacht Club)—my 23yo has really really tricky allergies, the kind that necessitate a Special Diets form. Chef Alli from A&C called me before the trip, emailed me confirming our conversation, talked with dx23 before prepping the food in case things had changed, and then, while we ate, tracked down a dessert that dx could actually eat!
Tricky allergies include dairy, shrimp, corn, black pepper, nutmeg, olives/olive oil, and on and on. Corn is the hardest one lately since almost all gf and top 8/9-free items contain corn.

Just to clarify for others:
My info (and complaints) are about the (QS) Market at Ale and Compass, we didn’t try the regular A&C restaurant.
