Pretty sure it’s all or nothing.
I think people who opt for no housekeeping take their trash to an outdoor trash can (if they are nice about it) or just stick it outside the door for housekeeping to pick up.

Also, if you’re not getting housekeeping service, I imagine you’re not having to tip housekeeping either?
No one has to tip housekeeping. It is actually considered a non-tipped position.

When we participated back in September, we had trash and towel service on day 3 and full cleaning on day 5 (or our 8-day stay). The program may have changed since then, of course. But, yes, it was all or nothing to participate.

Pretty sure it is all or nothing. We kind of lucked out and had a large trash bag in the small trash can in our room that we just kept to the side and threw it out after a few days. But you can set the trash outside the door and they will pick it up. You can still get the towels and toiletries and stuff you need, you will just have to call them.
May 2018 - checking in to the Caribbean Beach, we were offered $10 per night, not counting the first night. So a 5 night stay = $40 gift card.
We opted out, took the gift card. We called house keeping for extra wash clothes, they asked how many extra, and that was it.
Stayed at POP 5/25-5/29 was able to opt out of housekeeping received a $30 gift card.
