I’m having trouble deciding on a plan for my EP and HS days. Any input would be appreciated.
We are staying onsite deluxe so have access to Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours.
We have tix for MNSSHP on Tuesday so we will RD the park we choose for Monday, but Wednesday will be more of a 10:30 am park arrival so the kids can sleep in after staying out late Tuesday night.
Priorities:
EP - Remy, FEA, TT, Soarin’, GofG, time to meet characters while walking around WS
HS - SDD, Rise, MFSR, MMRR, ToT, ST, meet SW characters, at least 2 rides on TSM and A2S and Fantasmic
Here are the 2 options I am deciding between:
Option 1:
Monday: RD Early Entry at Epcot. EE RD Soarin’. Use earliest Remy LL we are able to get. After Remy tap-in get LL for FEA. Grab a TT LL at one of the afternoon drops. Leave park around 4:00 pm. Hop to MK for HEA after dinner. NOTE: EP has Extended Evening Hours, but we would not attend.
Wednesday: Arrive HS around 10:30 am. I will start stacking LLs at 7:00 am. Stay all day. Fantasmic. Stay for Extended Evening Hours to get a second ride on TSM and A2S.
Option 2
Monday: RD Early Entry at HS; I will start stacking LLs at 7:00 am. RD EE TSM and A2S (second TSM and A2S rides later in the day with LL). Leave park after Fantasmic. NOTE: EP has Extended Evening Hours, but we would not attend.
Wednesday: Arrive EP around 10:30 am. Remy LL. Then FEA LL. Get TT LL at an afternoon drop. Stay until 4:00 pm. Hop to MK for HEA after dinner. NOTE: HS has Extended Evening Hours, but we would not attend.
Specific questions:
- Any thoughts on whether EP and HS will be more crowded on dates they have Extended Evening Hours?
- A look at recent Thrill Data dates seems to indicate that LLs run out faster at EP on Monday (and the drops are a bit less consistent) than Wednesday. Thoughts?
- Which plan is a better approach for getting 2 TSM rides in with short waits: RD EE on Monday or Extended Evening Hours on Wednesday?
- Any considerations I am missing? I’m open to other options (including possibly skipping HEA).
