I’m strongly (95%) considering booking this one. Anyone with me? The per-night pricing is comparatively nice!

They even have a balcony cabin near the elevators, and early dining availability.
It seems to be fate. They’re holding my November 2026 reservation while I think about whether a balcony will be worth $5000 more than a porthole.
That is my dream cruise.
But I’d take the porthole and spend the $5K on excursions.

Starting this today to prepare, though I probably won’t get through all 31 hours by departure! Also calling in to Disney to nail down this cruise. I haven’t been this excited about a trip in many years!
Cruise, 1 night San Diego hotel, ground transfers at SD and Galveston booked, two one-way flights booked, Palo night booked (on Panama Canal day), Cartagena tour booked, all paid for, let’s go!
I always get the bigger WiFi package so I’ll probably continue posting about it here if anyone would like to follow along starting around November 5.
Booking “last minute” at 70 days made a port-side cabin and Palo brunch unavailable, but those are the only drawbacks I’ve encountered so far.
So exciting!
You still have time to book for the Panama Canal crossing! Plenty of inside staterooms still available for $6438 including gratuities! For 2, that’s only $230 per person per night!

But I’m making some progress on willing a 4-day Verry Merrytime Caribbean cruise into existence…so fingers crossed I’ll also be planning soon.

With such a long cruise I would keep checking for options to become available for Palo brunch. When we did a 14 night trans Atlantic there weren’t any but as the cruise got closer some things showed up. And you can always stop by the table on Embarkation day to see if they have any openings 
Yes, that’s the plan! A lovely Palo brunch is a great way to fill up a sea day. I booked a Palo dinner but I’ll gladly cancel, they are scheduled to start about 8PM which is way too late for us.
I also may make the DVC person my new bff, because I truly want to buy in the next year, though this trip put a big dent in my funds.
Also on the agenda before departure: rewatch Tangled, Soul, and Encanto for the shipboard tie-ins.
I’m not signing up for any fish extender exchanges because I’ll already be packing WAY too much stuff with me, but:
I just signed up myself and DD for a shipboard 5k (9 laps) a passenger has organized on Day 6. That will be my first race in about a decade, so if it takes me a few hours to finish, so be it! I’m looking forward to it!
