We got seated in a booth right on the line between day and night. So I guess that is why it was so noticeable! That’s funny no one else has mentioned it. But it is very noticeable if you are in between. There are two missing puzzle pieces on the night side back wall and apparently you can find them in Woody’s backyard somewhere. I’m sure that had been mentioned but I thought that was cool.
Good. Me too.
Bankers and Nurses: A Great Pair For Centuries
This is interesting! Now I want that tomato salad
Yes! I used them on our Feb trip and cannot say enough great things about Todd and Markayla. We are actually driving to the World tomorrow from TX instead of flying this time, or I would have used them again!
Got tied up yesterday and wasn’t able to finish up this report. Work always getting in the way!
So, Day 4 was our last full day and we did MK. At 7:00am we grabbed a VQ and ILL for Tron, got the ILL for 7DMT and a BTMRR. Our Minnie Van driver was from Australia and we had the pleasure of riding with him a day earlier over to DS for the dance performance. He was an incredible gentleman. Full of knowledge. He went into great detail about the airstrip and its location built back in 1971 for travelers coming to WDW. He also heard about our DD8’s tour “behind the MK” so he took us there as well. That was the first time I had been back there and it was pretty neat. I would’ve thought that the fireworks area would have been bigger but it is like 70 trash can sized boxes all prepped to fire. Reminds me of Waste Management cans. It is behind a fence of course with loads of cameras and they spray everything down with water prior. Even if it is raining. Disney don’t play! You can see the roads well from Tron now kind of between SM and Tron. Anyway, I said it wasn’t that crowded and it was definitely true. This pic of Main Street is at about 10:00am. We grabbed an Orange Bird sipper and a Lava drink on the way to BTMRR first thing. My DD3 loved her first ride on it.
We then grabbed a LL for iasw and headed over to the Carousel. Left there for a quick treat at Storybook. Those mermaid soft serves are the real deal. We ended up dropping both of them on the ground because they were melting so fast! A lovely CM offered multiple times to replace them but we didn’t need it. We then did 7DMT and headed over to ride Little Mermaid. From there we went Buzz and then saw Stitch cruising around. I think this might have been relatively new but correct me if I am wrong. That was a nice surprise.
Then off to Tron with a rider swap for DD8. This was our VQ which was BG 45 and didn’t get called until about 1:00pm+. While DD8 and I rode it , mama and DD3 went to PM and AO.
At this point we had used a LL for every attraction except for PM and AO. At this point we grabbed snacks at the Tron kiosk. The beef and broccoli meatballs were ok but salty. The Buffalo Chicken didn’t have much flavor and the doughnuts, although looking pretty tasty, were just weird. Strange chocolate sauce and Pop Rocks. Just odd. I hung out with DD3 who was taking a nap and waited on DW and DD8 to finish up. We then took the shortcut walkway from Tron back over to let the girls play in the water at the Circus and then we rode Barnstormer. After that, we headed over to PoftC which had been down most of the day but was back up and is one of my all time favorites. We did a quick Magic Carpet ride and then over to Tony’s for dinner. After cooling down and relaxing there we headed back to Tron for our night ride. We had selected a 8:00pm LL so we were hoping to finish up by HEA show.
We did make it through by 9:15pm barely but as my earlier post stated, we really didn’t watch much of HEA. It was shopping time so we hit up the Emporium and the Confectionary and then split. We did hang out and watch Minnie and Mickey at the train station for a bit. Then waited a very long time for a Minnie Van. We got back about 10:40pm to CSR.
Day 5 was departure. We are very guilty about extending our trips for another day at the end but we just couldn’t make it work logistically with flights. So it was Sayonara to CSR and off to Sanford.
We grabbed our GearFusion transportation at about 11:55am and were at our gate by 1:15pm and boarding had just started for a 2:12pm flight. It was perfect. Sad to go but had a ball on this trip. We didn’t load ourselves down with reservations and it made it pretty awesome. We cancelled a few we had because we just didn’t want to go. I really enjoyed sharing this one. Hopefully, there is some joy and some new things in here to peruse. Thanks for following along!
PS I forgot about our snow globe confiscation by TSA. DD3 had it in her backpack and it had too much liquid. We got a parting shot of it from TSA! Wife already ordered a new one so all should be well. Not really any tears so that was good.
I don’t believe it! It’s too cute, and they wanted it!!
Just awesome! Your family is just so adorable . Love the pics with roaming Stitch! And if you can magic the people out of that first Tron pic (the blue one with the castle in the background) you’ve got yourself a winner!
If I see that behind the screening machines next time then there is going to be some heck to pay!
Thanks for sharing about your trip! It looks like you all had a great, go with the flow trip!
That’s a bummer about the snow globe. I made that mistake once but they were feeling generous and let me take it. It was a good thing too because it wasn’t online!
I think my wife found it from some Disney shopper thing. I doubt it is online either. So glad you got yours! They didn’t even think about offering that option to us. Rules is rules I suppose
We just booked them for our July trip. Glad to read another positive review. It looks like you had a really fun trip! Your girls are so cute!
Love the girls’ Tron/Daisy shirts! And how cool that Stitch was walking around! Your short trip was packed with fun.
