I’m glad to see it returning!
We had signed up for an AK AH event back in May 2020, but that was obviously cancelled. I haven’t actually done one yet, but would love to one day. Will have to keep in on our radar for our January 2024 trip maybe.

So does this mean that the Extended evening hours for deluxe guests etc (at no additional cost) is going away? 
So now if we want to stay late we have to pay more.

Same thought here. It’s generally Mondays and Wednesdays- so same as the extended hours currently?
Wonder if there will be no deluxe hotel perks anymore.

At least the “kick off” dates do not conflict with current extended evening hours, so I think this is likely “in addition to” and not “instead of”.
But who knows with Disney!

I find it odd that Disney would want people to choose between the two. Wouldn’t they want deluxe paying guests to continue to book deluxe properties AND also buy AH tickets?
But yeah, Disney logic is the opposite of actual logic.

No I think this is to maximize money for non deluxe guests seeing as they events are on the same nights as the deluxe after hours, just different parks.

They have only added a week at a time though so I still wouldn’t worry too much.

Yes. And…they have only just updated their official operating hours through Dec. 7 so far.

Yeah it’s really frustrating trying to plan now. It used to be fairly easy to plan stuff out in advance. I get the pandemic stressed things and they had to be more agile, but we’re well past that now.
