Has anyone had any recent success in creating a good, workable customized touring plan? The customized touring plan tool (IMO, one of the most important features for subscribers) seems unusable in its current form. I would think the proper way to build a plan is as follows: Put in all your attractions and optimize. Then the plan should give you your 3 LLMP and LLSP suggestions. Then after you obtain your actual LL return times, you put those in. Then re-optimize. After putting the LL returns in the proper place, the plan should then include obtaining a new LL immediately after using one. None of this happens. If you don’t put in forced LL return times, the plan does have you pulling LLs, but many of the times don’t make any sense. For example, it has you waiting until after using 2 or 3 LLs before pulling a 4th, and some of the additional LLs have a return time earlier then when you’re obtaining it. If you activate the option to force LL return times, it will use them, but then the plan does not include obtaining any additional LLs for the entire day. Appreciate any help, because unless I’m missing something, there is no up-to-date how-to guide for building a good plan and I am struggling to see any value in using the tool at the moment. This is disappointing considering the LLMP/LLSP system has been in place for almost 2 years.

I don’t disagree with your frustrations using Optimize, but I love the TP software! I like to tour the parks in the manner we like and try to structure my attempted LL’s accordingly. (I use Thrill Data to help me figure out the timing of these.) Then, I force the use of my LL’s and Evaluate (not Optimize). Sounds like you know all of this already, but I would NEVER attempt a park day without using the TP software to plan out my day!
