Does anyone know if there’s a way to get your cruise luggage tags other than through the mail?
We are currently having a postal strike here in Canada with no idea when it will be resolved. The luggage tags for one of our cruise cabins (departure Dec. 29th) arrived before the strike started, but we did not get the set for the second cabin. We will be staying at the airport hotel the night before the cruise and taking Disney transportation to the port. Would we perhaps be able to get tags when we check in for the shuttle?
We can probably make do with the tags that we already have, especially since the two cabins are just across the hall from each other, but it would be nice to have both sets.
I bet they can print them at the port when you check in. I’m sure you’re not the first passenger to have been unable to receive them. It was I’m sure a much bigger deal “in the olden days” when they took your bags right from the airport and you never saw them until they magicked their way into your cabin. But I bet they have this happen on the regular.
Since we’re doing Disney transportation they actually take our luggage at the airport hotel and we don’t see it again until it’s delivered to our cabin. That’s why I wondered if they could print them at the transportation check in.
Oh! I see that @melcort10 's link answers whether the ground transportation will have the tags. Thanks!!
They have blank ones at any point where you are leaving luggage (with porters at the port or at the DCL bus check-in)! That way if you never got them, or forgot them, you can still get your bags!
