Crowd Levels Late October early November

Hello All,-

Planning my long awaited WDW trip. Last time I was there was 1979. Stayed at Polynesian.
So I am looking at late October or first week in November.
Does Halloween week impact MK all that much? Is first week of November better for crowds?
Also, how much does the Wine and Food Festival impact Epcot?
