The credit card on file is just to reserve? You can pay however you want when you are there correct?

Correct.

If no one shows up for your ADR, Disney will charge you $10 per person. Showing up with one or two missing is not a problem.

And you can then pay with a CC, magic band, gift card, debit card etc.

You need to have a credit card on file to make ADRs. If you no-show they will charge the $10 per person fee on the card on file. You’ll pay for your meal however you like. Make sure you have the card stored before your ADR day to save time.

The credit card is just to hold the reservation for most cases.

There are a few places where you have to pay in advance
