I have been so busy recently that I haven’t even had much time to think about this trip. I just realized last night that I need to pack over the weekend. Guess it’s time to get excited!!

Got myself all packed yesterday (to the point one can excepting those last minute items.
Got the house pretty well ready for the kids to manage for a few days.
Gotta get through a day of work today, and a morning tomorrow. Teaching tomorrow afternoon which doesn’t feel the same as a real workday and which will make the afternoon fly. Plus, my session is set to end at 2:30 with nothing to follow AFAIK so I should be able to jet by 3

I keep forgetting to post on milestone days. 
It’s only 17 days until we arrive in Orlando! We will be staying at Cabana Bay the first two nights. Can’t wait!

This is mostly a Disney trip, but we have two nights at Cabana Bay to kick things off! Right now we’re planning on Volcano Bay but I will be checking the weather closer to the day of and may call an audible.

Have you stayed at Cabana Bay before? I got tubes for the lazy river for $2 at Wal-Mart and it felt like such a hack! But maybe you aren’t even using the pool if you are doing VB.

Yeah we’re planning to go to VB so pool tubes are not necessary. I think that’s a racket btw! If we were going to that pool I would not get one on principle.

1000% a racket! And I couldn’t believe how many people were buying them. We were going to give ours away but ran out of time.

I actually wouldn’t even mind if they charged the same price but to rent, even though that would be even more of a racket. 
I just hate the waste. I don’t need one-time-use tubes.

Today is only 5 days to departure but it was my LL day for Disney! I got a decent haul, but Monday for EP (day 8) was slim pickings for the morning. Earliest available time was 10am even for Figment, etc.
Tuesday (day 9) for AK had pretty much everything I wanted. HS (day 10) was somewhat limited. I don’t have an MK day for LLMP since we’re doing MNSSHP instead.
