It appears like it is going to work out. It’s been a very long stressful process. She got the Apostille paperwork expedited thanks to our local congressional representative. Her Visa was shipped yesterday, hopefully will be here today or tomorrow. So I guess it’s a go!

I was sure it wasn’t happening. If it wasn’t for our Rep getting involved, it would not have. There are quite a few kids in the program who are not going to be able to go because they couldn’t get their reps to intervene. It’s really a screwed up system, can take 11 weeks to get the apostille approved, and when it comes back it is nothing more than a piece of manilla paper attached with a stamp. 11 weeks for that. But if you can get your Rep to email them, they will pull your file and do it the next day. So a fastpass that you cannot control basically. We just got lucky.

That was who I assumed! Her office has that reputation. I really, really like her! I actually got to know her at Disney at an event. But I also ditched her at the tapstyles when their magic bands didn’t work and we had a Space FPP to get to

That’s so funny.
Tim has spent time with her at several work events here and likes her. Avery also just reminded me that she got to introduce her at a talk at her high school before covid. Anyway, we are happy she stepped up and helped.
