Yeah, me too. And it was my (now) DW’s first trip to WDW.
I think the thing I like best about Disney’s need to projection-map everything onto the castle nowadays is that it means that they won’t do this monumentally massive eyesore again.

I guess that is the only good thing about their obsession with projections over everything else. 
When Wishes existed, it would not have even been a question what to do the final night. HEA is a hard pass for me though.
