I think this was a tee shirt that someone had made? And I did wonder - but did not check - if that is when the theming was changed from 20000 Leagues to Nemo? Or did Nemo come much later? I don’t even know. I’ll hush now

But surprisingly (to me at least) the DL ride was never themed for 20,000 Leagues but just subs exploring.
But, yes after 39 years, it closed and eventually re-opened in it’s current Finding Nemo theme

I couldn’t choose…
The Cars movie was an integral part of our day to day when ds was a toddler. We probably watched it twice a day for well over a year.
When I was a tween, my parents purchased a four door VW Rabbit (light blue) for our family car. My mom named it Thumper and dad even had a custom license plate holder made for it that said “My Name is Thumper.”
Both of today’s images are meaningful.
