Our tried and true solution for this situation is to find a spot near a trash can and seat the child on the trash can during fireworks.

If they were garbage, they’d get a tour of the Utilidor tubes! Actually given that trash cans serve as a table for many guests (esp in Epcot), they might as well be a seat as well. Although maybe that makes the table usage even less appealing…
