I just saw this. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will reopen by spring break!

Same here. I guess we’ll see!

My daughter (at college in Redlands) is going to DCA today with her friends. She has an AP but her friends purchased 3-day SoCal tickets. This will be their second day. I’m sure Disney will extend their ticket so that it doesn’t expire before they can use the third day, but they are stressing about it.

I have no doubt they will make it right. They have already announced that they will be extending people’s AP by the amount the parks are closed. I have to believe they would do the same for your daughter’s friends 3 day tickets.

Our beloved Disneyland is now closed. Who knows when it will be open again. I really hope it’s soon.

Also this was spot on:

This is good news:

Perhaps to use up their project budgets before the axe is brought down on them, Disneyland has rushed Pirates of the Caribbean and some additional attractions into refurbishment. Sections of pavement on Main Street around the Castle and Frontierland have been completely torn up. And lots of deep cleaning is being conducted everywhere. All of it fueled by a classic Guardians of the Galaxy-esque pop rock soundtrack pumped out everywhere except Star Wars land.

The underlying bad news is that budget cuts could be expected and the parks could be closed for a while. But good that so far they are still trying to do some refurbishment during the close. I wonder if that will be the case at WDW.
