DH and I are arriving in Orlando around 11:00 on December 11 and we’re not planning on a park day, but were going to explore DTD and hang out. I thought it might be fun to go to the monorail resorts and see the Christmas decorations and grab a counter-service lunch at one of them. So: where are the Absolutely Can’t Miss Christmas resort decorations? Which is your favorite counter-service lunch at Contemporary/Grand Floridian/Polynesian? Looking at the menus, I’m currently leaning towards Captain Cook’s or Gasparilla Grill, but I’m open to suggestions.
GF has the huge gingerbread house. Contempo cafe at CR gets a lot of love.
Here is a link to a to a thread about WL. It may be fun to take the boat over to see the tree. ( there is a photo on the thread).

On YouTube there is a plan. I found one with suggested route for deluxe resort. Campground is good too.
Thank you, all! I’m really excited - I’ll also hop on YouTube to see what’s going on there.
I second going to WL - definitely worth the trip to see the lobby decorations.
