We are going over a busy time (the days leading up to Thanksgiving). We are hoping to arrive before noon with an early flight on Saturday November 23rd and going to a park and then full park days on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th. We leave on Thanksgiving Day. It looks crowded at each park each day. What is the best way to decide which park? We currently have hoppers for flexibility. 6 people - two adults, kids 10, 8, 6 and 4.5y. We are interested in 1 or 2 character meals (Cinderella’s Royal Table or Akerhaus and possibly Chef Mickey or Tusker House.
Our arrival day has decent crowd levels. One of the parks shows greens on Sunday (I think), but is labeled an 8 or 9.
At times like this it is often better to let factors other than CLs determine your park schedule. Look at the park hours, in particular when EMH days are - if you want to do mEMH, make sure that you don’t have a late night the day before, and vice-versa with eEMH. Also, let your ADRs be your guide - if you can only get a highly desired ADR on a give day, then that helps you make Park decisions.
I concur with @brklinck, decide about EMH first
Are EMH a good thing to do at crowded times? Our kids wake up early so we should have no problem rope dropping
If you can easily hit them, mEMH are always a good thing.
