Yes! We used it once with FP+ and once standby. The CM at the entrance will give you a lanyard and then you need to give the lanyard to the CM you see before you board. That CM will give you the paper Rider Switch pass. That pass is good until the end of the calendar month.
The lanyard thing is relatively new and I think it is unfortunately to prevent abuse of people just getting the Rider Swap pass and skipping the line entirely.
Great! the only time I have seen the lanyards were the ones that track the wait times. I didnāt know they had rider swap lanyards too. thank you so much! this really helps. itās not likely we will get a fast pass, and with both children under 7 there is no way we can all 3 ride together - which would be ideal for us all - especially the girls to be able to ride together!

Iād bet a dollar to a donut that you can find someone to ride with your daughter or her friend in line if you ask. Especially groups with odd numbers of peopleā¦ parents with one child.
