Checking Every Day?

Yeah what even is that?

Like a Capri Sun???

i assume you’re looking for a more eloquent response beyond “a f’n dumb idea that does nothing but cause both a mess and eco-waste”?

no. it’s way dumber.

they also put “cereal milk” in that too, so you can take your little pittance of milk and dump it onto your cereal…somehow without spilling it all over the table.

Oh my.

Does that even meet health code regulations?

Hard pass.

i’m sure it does, cause it is “sealed” compared to most things at a buffet, but it’s just a terrible execution.

They woulda been much better off dumping a bunch of drink into a giant igloo container and having a CM pour it for you like they did for all the drinks.

I keep thinking jello shots, but that’s it.

what —ah—what’re you thinking?

Wow! Looking forward to seeing what you guys have planned once Genie rolls out.

I understand Chapek and upper management’s desire to “maximize yield”. What I don’t get is WHY they want to make things so complicated. Yeah, people with endless anounts of money may just throw money at the problem but a lot of people will just be confused and mad when they can’t access things or things that used to be free cost money.

I feel like they’re going down a path where eventually it’s going to be like ‘Ohana. “Guess what?! We’ve brought back the noodles!” “Oh, you hate that cheap ass shrimp casserole? We’ve brought back peel-and-eat shrimp! And we got rid of the kielbasa, too!” “We’re bringing the fastpass you know and love back to WDW!”

Sorry, it’s a California thing. Basically a big variety of soups, salads, braised dishes, etc. All a la carte so kind of old-school cafeteria-style. You tell the person behind the counter what you want and they plate it up. And of course, they do have a great selection of lemonade.

Ok that’s idiotic. I would have thought they’d just have servers come around to your table with beverages.

well THAT would make more sense, as that is what EVERY OTHER RESTAURANT does.

But …y’know…disney gotta derp-ney sometimes :stuck_out_tongue:

I just got back off a cruise and desserts were pre plated and self serve at the buffet.

Pretty much every casino buffet I’ve ever been to does that as well.

That sounds about right.

We have eaten at Storyteller’s many time, servers do come to your table with drinks. These drinks in bags are part of the kids’ buffet.

Looks almost like those bags of milk that our local schools tried when I was in middle school. Except it didn’t have a straw attached. You had to poke the straw into the bags. Let’s just say bags of milk were not the best idea for teenagers. Between the jokes and the squirting milk battles, it was ridiculous.
