Characters still at Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival?

Is it still accurate advice to stop by the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival to see characters?

I’m seeing mixed information about whether or not characters are at or near the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. The dedicated TP attraction page doesn’t mention anything about characters. This May 2024 article from DFB notes that the characters may have moved away from the film festival attraction area. I couldn’t easily find any articles on TP that discuss this attraction.

Both the “EPCOT Touring Plan for Parents with Small Children” and “EPCOT Late Arrival One-Day Touring Plan for Parents with Small Children” plans contain a note that says “Meet the characters near the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival. Skip the cartoons.”

Spending 1 day at EPCOT on our first DW trip, so trying to decide whether to cut this stop (leaning towards cutting it if it’s just screening of short films).

They were there as recently as a year ago.

We have met Joy and Vanellope there. Great spot and rarely much of a line

Looking at the WDW app, the map shows Figment is meeting today somewhere in or by the Imagination pavilion.

Oh great! Didn’t think about it showing up in the WDW app. Will keep the attraction stop but check the day of for character info.
