Can't upgrade seasonal pass to gold pass over the phone?


Heading to WDW on Saturday and was hoping to upgrade my seasonal pass to a gold pass to start taking advantage of the included photo pass. I call yesterday and a CM told me I could only upgrade at a ticket booth. Anyone know if this is true? I find it odd that they wouldn’t do this over the phone as I’m trying to give Disney more money. Can I at least take care of it at my resort? Would hate to have to go to TTC just to upgrade my pass.

It’s true. I am planning to upgrade my DLR AP for the exact same reason, and the CM I was talking with said that I could only do that at the box office at the park.

Bummer. Well hopefully I can upgrade at the guest relations window at MK.
