Candlelight Processional/Festival of the Holidays 2026

It was supposed to be 6am, but so far the CP page is the same, saying “To book, check back October 14th”

They are definitely having issues. Even regular searching for any reservations any day has been erroring out for me off and on since 6.

What a pain!
It’s not ideal in the first place because everyone looking for CP packages from Nov 27 to mid December is on, trying to book. I don’t know why they can get things up at the 60 day mark, when dining packages start.

So frustrating! It is strange that they hold them this way and create this bottleneck. I’ve just spent the last hour mainly refreshing and trying again. I did manage to get a reservation, but not quite what I wanted and never really able to discern what was available or when. Just luck with trying again and again at various restaurants. I wanted rose & crown, which I got. But the only one I was able to secure was for a show at the same time as my gimmering greenhouses reservation.

You got a Candlelight dining reservation at R&C, or just a regular reservation?

Candlelight. It showed up as an add on option when trying to make a regular reservation.

For example

This is what I did for the Biergarten too (after a lot of Hei Heis)

Yes, lots of hei hei. I so wish I could see what else is available. I want to change mine, but I don’t want to risk giving up what I have!

Yeah I don’t know why they did it this way where you can’t see if there’s a dining package option until you select a time! It’s so annoying for changes.

Well, that stinks! I was waiting for the CP page to change, and wasted an hour!

This is impossible.

Checking every restaurant for December 8th. Some have lunch availability, but no CP option was offered.
I’m really mad!

Finally, at 7:45, there is a link to check availability on the CP page…but of course now it’s too late. Everything is booked. I ended up making a late dinner reservation at Coral Reef and we’ll just watch Candlelight Processional from the American Adventure courtyard. What a bummer!

Try making a reservation for an even number of people like 4 or 6. Sometimes the system is just picky about stuff like that. Hopefully you’ll see what you want open up eventually.

I was looking for 2. There were a few that had an opening for 3, and I’ve done that before for a regular dining reservation, but I didn’t know if I should do that for the package reservation.

Yes definitely do. You can always show up with less people. A table for 3 will still take up a table for 4.

Even on a dining package where you have to ‘pay’ for the tickets?

Keep checking it every once in awhile. Things always become available after the initial grab and people realize they panic booked. Also, as @jenn94 said, there was that year they dropped them at random times/days (that year was awful)…so they may release more.

For ones like this that aren’t prepaid, absolutely. It’s the only way I can ever do things like this as a solo traveler. For something that’s paid in full at the time of booking, I don’t know if they would refund the ‘absent’ people or not.
