Can we do one day, both parks, no express pass? (but no big coasters?)

Ok so like ride it as a ride and not just a way to switch parks? I will need a bigger touring plan lol.

I would agree! It would be like going from Tomorrowland to BTMRR then back to Space Mountain. IOA isn’t too large, but it’s still a lot of walking. Plus, Hogsmeade sits on top of a hill. Much easier to walk from there to Seuss Landing that the other way.

It’s, literally, a tram to the other park that you can use without exiting the parks. It’s is themed and has a “show” as you cross parks. The show is different each way.

Targeting 10/22 which looks like no HHN!

Yes, for sure. But it’s also convenient for switching parks IF the line is short.

But definitely look at it as a ride that you must do with young and small HP fans :+1:t3:

In fact, consider it as two rides. One in each direction.

I don’t recall the single rider line being involved, but I remember going up to the front of the line past everyone that was waiting in that last room.

Correct. There is no HHN on Mondays or Tuesdays… Even ghouls & ghosts need a couple nights off! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Take some less drowsy Dramamine and take half a little bit before riding. It wasn’t horrible. In some ways it was better than Star Tours (the vehicle is open so you don’t feel confined), but there were parts that were just as bad.

The drop is quite a bit higher / faster and there are huge dinosaur animatronics in a dark room that can be terrifying even for adults. But all of my kids (other than DD5, who is still too short) enjoyed it overall.

Correct! There’s a queue that runs along the wall parallel to Single Rider. That’s the queue that VIPs and rider switch get to use

Yeah… it’s a bit scary. The T-Rex does come down like it’s gonna eat you right as you drop. Plus, it’s a BIG drop. Bigger than Splash Mt. TBA… You will get wet, but not soaked - IME

Ok I’m remaking my plans into 4 parts so we can go back and forth between the parks twice. Pending…

What should we rope drop in USF? Gringotts?

Yes… 90% of people will already be at IOA during Early Park Admission to ride Hagrid’s / VelociCoaster.

Going to USF if you aren’t staying on-site for EPA is always the best way

Yes, RD Gringott’s, maybe gets some quick pics in an empty Diagon Alley first. I would consider Leaky Cauldron breakfast after that, it’s delicious.

Your plans look pretty great!

Ok I updated now with an attempt to do Hagrid’s around 11 but it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to get to everything. I think that’s probably ok as I’m not really sure what the kids will want to do. I am NOT riding the Pteranadon Flyers but can definitely envision people asking to do it!

I take it this will be your first visit to Universal?

Would you like a map of Diagon Alley?

While there is a slump in the wait I’m not sure it’s worth totally rearranging everything or jumping parks to get there to save time. I would just do it as the last thing of the night. You can get in the queue right up until close!

Plus, it is INCREDIBLE at night. The ride was designed to be ridden that way. (Can’t say more without spoilers!)

Currently PF is out of commission. It went offline unexpectedly a while back with no announced reopening date

I did just check your date. It seems IOA is closing early at 6pm. Most likely due to a Private Event rental…

Park open is at 9am. So you should try to arrive at the parking garage / Uber drop off by 7:45am to “maximize” RD.

Would you mind if I play around with a TP for your day? I know you can do it yourself. I’m just bored at work!!

10/22 is showing 9 to 7 on the website. App hours not showing yet.
